Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan (Tai Ji Quan), with its slow and decontracted movements, linked to a continuous control over breathing and balance, influnces the practitioner's well-being both in the mind and the body. The legendary founder of the style, Chan San Feng, a taoist priest who lived during the Song dinasty (1200), created sequences of movements and fighting principles following the laws of Yin and Yang, sticking therefore to the natural dynamics of energy. Thanks to its accessibility and unbelievable effects on human health, Tai Chi Chuan is nowadays the most practiced Kung Fu style in the world.

Our courses start with the teaching of the Yang School, whose movements are slow and constant, light and soft, and suitable for every age. They then offer the more ancient Chen style, keeping a faster and more dynamic character alive. Our programme furthermore carefully considers the movements' technical applications, the style's traditional weapons, chi kung practice, and the theoretical aspects of the art .
